I contacted GNC live...

Today, December 14, 2017, I contacted GNC live and spoke with a gentleman named Lee.  He listened intently to my concerns, specifically I told him I thought it was unethical  for Dr. Conaway to identify her program as the Power Hour and then use the power hour phone number (the number historically used during Joyce Riley's program) to place orders for her Youngevity products.  He proceeded to inform me that Daniel Brigman requested the time slot change and that it was further Daniel's desire to change the name of the program to the "Power Hour Nation."  He further stated that changes take place all the time in the broadcast industry and he did not believe that anything inappropriate was done.   I personally do not think that the we, the listening audience, will ever know the internal dynamics which took place. I agree, the Power Hour family has been fooled and this stunt is an insult to our beloved Joyce Riley and we take this matter personally.  But how are we to respond? We respond to this situation with dignity, resolve and an inner strength to do the right and honorable thing.  That inner strength can only come from our eternal God who will also provide us with wisdom, if we are so inclined to ask Him.   Joyce Riley was a pillar of strength and she devoted her life to seeking the truth that was adorned with dignity.  We must continue to model her legacy and not embrace the despicable ways of this world using filthy language, name calling with righteous indignation. Let us take this matter to the Lord in prayer.
