Concerns expressed on the other forum

Obviously something is going on, I just hope Daniel is okay.

As for the Con show, I would hope that anyone with any sense would stay away from it. How could anyone trust anything coming from someone who would be okay masquerading as Joyce's counterpart and continuation. Yet, people are listening, both new & long time listeners.

Let's face it, 7-10 is the prime time for radio talk show. That's usually how advertisers purchase placements, by time slots & ratings, not by the show they air within. And yes, there are good people involved with that show, like Erin Dakins, but they are likely having to make an effort to find the good within their situation. After all, they have to make a living just like the rest of us.

Meanwhile, GCN continues to keep things under wraps as much as possible. Has anyone new tried to sign up for the Power Hour forum on the GCN site? It seems they are not taking newcomers.

be a way to follow your suggestion, hopefully

I reason that by mentioning purely personal,
emotional responses to the situation, and
not attacking the sponsors or Conaway show
participants, the message that they are
turning off loyal former Joyce Riley listeners
can be conveyed, without providing any reason
to paint Daniel as causing them grief.

That's my hope, anyway.

[Eleanor again]  Directly contacting the Conaway
show sponsors could, depending on wording, be
seen by them as some sort of "attack."  Every
person has their own way of seeing things.

I was suggesting that by being almost apologetic,
and saying your feelings (emotional term) are that
you (regretfully) can't purchase their products,
and/or listen to the Conaway show, that MIGHT
be safe to say.

Personally, I would not say that directly to the
sponsors, because of the sensitive situation.

But it is, I hope, relatively safe to declare on the
forums.

Tricky situation, needs thought before saying stuff.
