Welcome back. This is the Power Hour with Dr Joanne Conaway and we are in our final hour and I am so excited. This day has has gone by so quickly for me and I have so enjoyed the comments that are coming in from you. It's wonderful to be able to get email comments and text messages while I am doing this show and I appreciate it, I appreciate your support. I appreciate you out there letting me know that what I am doing is helpful for you.
I want to go to callers now Thomas in Missouri are you with me? I am. Hi there, how may I help you? Well, I'm a little confused as to why you would be hosting the Power Hour, uhm, I don't understand why you are hosting a show called the Power Hour. Okay, well, there are a couple of reasons for that. One of the reasons was because the Power Hour show was such a popular show and we did not want to let it go. And the other reason was because, in the past, Joyce, who hosted the show was former military, a former flight nurse, a person with a background very similar to mine. It was felt that it might be a good fit for me to step in and take over and just continue the show and not let it go. Sure, but Daniel Brigman was chosen by Joyce to continue her legacy not [you]. You didn't know Joyce as far as I know. Um, I find it a little disgusting that you would try and steal the name the Power Hour from the person she chose to take over her legacy. I mean, do you guys have no moral compass? I mean that's just disgusting what you guys are doing trying to steal the show... Okay, let's close this call.
You know it's interesting and it's sad that people would feel that way. Dan is still doing his show. He's doing his show in the afternoon and Dan will continue to do his show. I know that Dan and Joyce had a relationship and that it is moving on from there. He's doing his show and he's doing his thing. But the other thing that I want people to understand is I'm not tryin' to fill her shoes, I'm not tryin' to take over what she did. What I'm trying to do is continue to move forward and to help with education and understanding around an all natural approach to health and wellness, some of the things that unfortunately impact us in various different ways that are not helpful and in fact are harmful. And until people have this awareness and understanding, I think that we are going to have more issues with people who are sick, people who are unhealthy, people who just can't seem to feel good about themselves and feel good about their lives. So, for you out there that are so upset I apologize, but I am not doing this with any ill intent. I am doing this because I want to ensure that people continue to get a healthy, healthy message.
